SINOPSIS:

Welcome to Inglés II (A1+) These Are a Few of My Favorite Things, a course
designed to bring English learning to life through meaningful, real-world use.
This book follows the official MCCEMS 2025 curriculum and is grounded
in Prácticas Sociales del Lenguaje (PSL), allowing students to engage
with English in authentic situations that connect to their interests and
community experiences.
Its methodology combines a communicative approach with situated
learning, guiding students step by step until they are able to express
themselves with confidence and clarity.
The book presents a balanced progression of listening, speaking, reading,
and writing activities, supported by clear models, guided practice, and
tasks that mirror everyday contexts. In the Didactic Structure, you will find
a QR code called Get in the Game, which gives access to an interactive
game that allows students to practice and track their progress. Additionally,
audio and video resources enrich comprehension and motivation. The
activities foster collaboration, critical thinking, and the use of English in
meaningful, relatable situations.
It is aligned with the MCCEMS program and offers suggested PEC project
ideas that extend language learning beyond the classroom. These projects
help students connect English to their academic, personal, and community
settings. Overall, this book builds confidence and supports students in
developing practical, real-world communication skills through relevant,
inclusive, and engaging learning experiences
